ARTropolis, a citywide celebration of arts, antiques and culture, will feature two main events: Art Chicago and The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair™, running concurrently at The Merchandise Mart, April 25-28, 2008. Tickets priced at $20 for a single day pass and $25 for a multiple day pass will provide admission to both of these shows, as well as the three satellite shows of ARTropolis.

At Art Chicago, more than 140 galleries from around the world will feature the work of some of the most influential and exciting artists who are shaping the direction of the contemporary art market today.

Featuring more than 115 of the world’s top dealers, The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair™ will showcase antiques and fine art from a wide range of categories, periods and locales.

NEXT, a curated invitational of emerging art, will take place on the 7th floor of the Merchandise Mart and run concurrently with Art Chicago. NEXT is developed in partnership with Kavi Gupta and Christian Viveros-Faune and will provide an international platform for new and emerging work.
