The terra cotta and marble sea life that grace Shedd’s 1930 Beaux Arts building are just a hint at what you’ll find inside. Start your visit with the green sea turtle and multihued schooling fishes in the 90,000-gallon Caribbean Reef habitat. Then immerse yourself in Amazon Rising and see the floodplain forest from the perspective of the changing seasons – and water levels.
