The Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park, containing one of America’s largest outdoor collections, may well be the most enduring contribution to south metropolitan Chicagoland of that turbulent and exciting period in art, the 1960s and ‘70s. It spans more than one-hundred acres of naturally landscaped prairie on the Govenors State University
campus. The collection was established in the late 1960s by Lewis Manilow, and named in honor of his father Nathan Manilow.
